Our Vision

You Matter was founded in 2024, with a distinct and clear vision. To support the elderly. Our primary goal is to create a robust support system for socially isolated elderly people. We will deliver direct companionship, create pathways for individuals to re-engage with their local community. Moreover, we will provide practical assistance through food banks and shopping services, in order to ensure that vulnerable individuals have consistent access to nutritious food.

Implementing the government's Making Every Contact Count MECC framework is also essential and an integral part of our vision. We will use this to provide holistic 1-1 support, addressing the root causes of isolation and signposting our friends to relevant health and social services.

Part of our vision is also to bring the community together in an effort to befriend the lonely. We will offer meaningful volunteering opportunities to the local people, providing valuable work experience which is meaningful for them, making them a more well-rounded individual, but also helping to strengthen community cohesion and serve our human race better.

Our Team

You Matter is comprised of a team of skilled individuals who have an unwavering goal to execute this community interest project with perfection, in order to best serve the community and give the elderly people of Kent and Medway what they need.
